MTF Whakatane Fish And Chip Run
We had a fantastic turnout for our MTF Whakatane Fish and Chip run, with 17 Mustangs meeting at Tauranga Crossing to kick off the day. The convoy cruised around the top of Lake Rotorua, enjoying stunning scenery and country roads.
We were joined along the way by 8 more Mustangs from the Rotorua group, bringing the total to 25 cars. The drive continued through the picturesque lakes district and on to Whakatāne, with a stop at the Hub to support local Hospice fundraising alongside Colin from 1XX Radio.
The final stop was the Whakatāne Fishing Club, where we all enjoyed a relaxed fish and chip lunch by the water. Prizegiving was held here, with awards presented for Best Turned-Out Cars from MTF Whakatane and a few lucky number spot prizes handed out to some happy winners. It was a great way to wrap up a fun and well-supported day.
Thanks to everyone who came along and contributed to a successful run—we look forward to seeing you at the next event!
Thanks to Roger for all the planning and MTF Whakatane for sponsoring the annual Fish and Chip Run.
